I know these are toothbrushes which are obviously meant for your teeth, but I actually got them to clean my dogs feet and the gunk around her eyes. If you have a dog you know their eyes can get gross. I have used soft toothbrushes in the past for her but never silicone ones and because they're silicone, washable, and resistant to bacteria I thought these might work even better. They're pretty soft but not so soft they're ineffective. I'm also hoping because they're silicone they'll last longer and therefore save me money in the long run. They're also easy to hold and have a comfortable grip. Also, because they're different colours I know which colour is used for what. They were also pretty affordable making them about $1.60 each for the price I paid.If you're curious, here's what I do for her eyes and so far I haven't had any major problems. I dab a little bit of coconut oil around her eyes being very careful not to get it in her eye and not put too much because a little goes a long way. Then I let it sit for a few minutes to help break up the gunk. Next, I use the toothbrush to GENTLY brush the gunk out from the corners of her eyes and around her eyes. As I'm working I will use a warm, damp washcloth to wipe off anything that gets on the brush. When I'm done getting all of the gunk out I then use the warm washcloth over her eyes and hold it there for a few minutes and then wipe any coconut oil that may have been left behind. I can't say that she enjoys any of this but other brushes or just using a washcloth or something doesn't work too well and this seems to have done the trick. As far as her feet go, I soap her feet up with doggy shampoo then use a different toothbrush to get in between her toes and around her nails then rinse her feet off. I don't do this too often because she of course hates this too, but it works.
