As someone who cares a great deal about the amount of waste I create and the good I can do to make up for it, I always thought that I was just out of luck in the toothbrush department. Then I found these! I worried that when I got them, I would completely be sacrificing a toothbrush that works well for one that was a bit better for the environment, made in the USA, and from a company that has a great record of being very conscientious in their practices & philosophy. I was kind of okay with that. Well, no sacrifice necessary. These toothbrushes work just as well as the $5 Oral B toothbrushes I've been buying my whole life. No, they aren't covered in rubber like the Oral B, and they don't have that lovely blue dye that rubs off as I use it (in my mouth... eww) to let me know when to throw it away & buy another. My grip & eyes work just fine, they can do those jobs on their own. But they do sure brush my teeth great! The handle is curved too, so I can get all my teeth! Here's a tip- if you like these but don't need the travel case with each toothbrush, you can also order the same toothbrushes in a really convenient mail-back pouch. (You can mail them back to the manufacturer- postage paid- to be recycled and used again! Full circle. Awesome!) These clean my teeth better than all the fancy toothbrushes out there. Very simple toothbrush. Very clean teeth. Old school. Work great. Buy them.Preserve Toothbrush, Soft / B000MUDJBUI bought these toothbrushes because they were made of recycled plastic, and I feel enough guilt over the state of the planet as is, without having to stress over toothbrush purchases. What I did not expect, however, is that I would end up liking these brushes better than the ones I was using.I was concerned when I saw the curved shape of the toothbrush, but within seconds of using the brush for the first time, I felt that the brush was easier to hold and use than the straight brushes I've used all my life. I was amazed at how quickly my fingers adapted to the new shape! The bristles are also wonderfully soft, perfect for my sensitive gums. Brushing is now less painful and more efficient, and it is easier to reach my back teeth with the curved handle. All that and I feel slightly less guilty about my toothbrush. And I don't have to drive all the way to the store to pick these up! I couldn't be happier with these brushes.~ Ana MardollThese toothbrushes are a little strange feeling in your hand at first, because of the angle of the handle. As you use them you will realize that you can reach areas of your teeth that you couldn't easily do before. The soft and ultra soft bristles are fine enough to get in between your teeth and under gum line almost as good as floss. For people like me who have a small mouth and very tightly crowded teeth that make it hard to floss these brushes are great. Gave 1 to my hygienist and he said they were really great also. The fact that they are made of recycled material and will be recycled again makes it even a better deal for me and the environment. I just wish I could find a store near me that still sells them.I bought these toothbrushes first and foremost because they are made of recycled materials and you can return them for further recycling. They are okay toothbrushes that clean your teeth quite well, but the shape of the bristle is not the best and it can takes up some work to clean your teeth thoroughly. You really need to use dental floss with these toothbrushes. Other than that, if you're looking for a soft bristle, this might not be soft enough. It actually feels quite stiff. With this shape though I'm worried if super soft would do any cleaning whatsoever.I first got these at the store because I saw that they are recyclable and was really very pleasantly surprised to discover that they are also the best toothbrushes I (and my husband) have ever used; so much so that when we moved and no longer had access to them, I looked for them on Amazon. The way that they are bent means that it is very difficult for you to push too hard while you brush, and results in the perfect amount of pressure. The bristles are also soft. My husband refuses to use any other toothbrush ever again. We have mailed ours back for recycling several times over now.The plastic used feels real nice and there is a ridge at the top that stops spit/water from running down the brush onto your hands. I wish the bristle area was a little wider. What takes some getting use to is the bend of the brush. Most brushes I've used were fairly flat but these have a pretty big bend. It takes a week or two to get use to it. Good brushes otherwise.Amazon we love these brushes but have NO IDEA why you will not ship them to Hawaii. There would seem to be no reason for you or the sub-vendors to not ship these to Hawaii. We had to do a work around with family to get them but they are really an outstanding product...5 stars for the product....3 stars for the 'gap' in shipping and averages to a 4.Really like the shape of these
